Hi, I’m Heather — a licensed marriage and family therapist, a proud mom of two vibrant girls, and the founder of Shine Bright, Sis!
Before this business was born, I spent over a decade walking alongside children and families through some of life’s most difficult seasons. My work in nonprofit settings, with at-risk youth, children in foster care, and survivors of trauma, shaped my belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated. I’ve always been passionate about helping kids reclaim their voice, rebuild their self-worth, and remember how brightly they were meant to shine.
That same heart carried into my own home, where I found healing and magic in the everyday moments spent creating with my daughters. Through glitter, make-believe, and hours of imaginative play, I saw their confidence bloom — and I saw just how powerful safe, joyful spaces can be.
Inspired by their bond as sisters and their bold, beautiful imaginations, Shine Bright, Sis! became more than just a party business. It became a mission: to blend therapeutic insight with whimsical celebration — helping girls build confidence, express themselves, and feel empowered just as they are.
From affirmation mirrors to conversation cards and confidence catwalks, every part of our parties is intentionally designed to support social-emotional growth while keeping fun and creativity at the heart of it all. Whether your child is shy, silly, sassy, or somewhere in between — we see them, we honor them, and we can’t wait to help them shine.
*Several of our team members are also experienced in working with children with developmental delays or on the spectrum of Autism. We create a safe space for all children and are happy to make modifications to our services to work around sensory issues. Please mention this in your notes and I will be sure to make accommodations and assign the most appropriate staff. 💕

Hi, I'm Megan - a proud Shine Leader! By day, I teach exceptional students, and by night, I wear my favorite titles: wife and mom. I'm a stepmom to two amazing girls who are each growing into confident, unique individuals.
Being both a girl mom and a special education teacher fuels my passion for creating safe, empowering spaces where all kids feel seen, values, and confident. I'm excited to help your child build self-belief and create a lasting memory.

Hi, I'm Alyssa, and I lead the magic at our events! I'm passionate about creating confidence-building, joy-filled experiences that help every child feel seen, celebrated, and truly magical. I bring positive energy, creativity, and a whole lot of sparkle to every celebration!✨
