Shine Bright Valley: My Adventure Journal is an interactive, story-based emotional learning experience designed for young children and the grown-ups who guide them. Through colorful characters, imaginative destinations, hands-on activities, and supportive parent guidance, children learn how to identify, understand, express, and care for their emotions.
Throughout the journey, your child will travel through Shine Bright Valley alongside Buddy Bear and a group of lovable friends. Each destination introduces a different feeling or emotional skill through storytelling, creative activities, reflection pages, and practical coping tools that children can continue using long after the book is complete.
Along the way, children will explore emotions such as sadness, anger, fear, jealousy, and joy while learning that feelings are not something to hide or avoid. Feelings are messages that can be noticed, understood, and cared for.

Social Skills Class at My Play Place
Every Thursday at 10:30am come join us for a social skills class geared for children ages 2-5. Toddlers will learn how to make friends, handle disagreements, find their voice, and more with loveable Friendship Forest Friends through song, story time with puppets, role play, and crafts! Each class participants will earn a Friendship Explorer badge for the skill of the week to add to their Friendship Explorers sash.
